Height
- Stand straight against a wall without shoes.
- Record total height.
Inseam
- Stand with feet 6–8 inches apart.
- Place a book snug to the crotch.
- Measure floor to book top. Record in cm and inches.
Quick fit rules
- Standover clearance: Road 1–2 cm. Hybrid 2–5 cm. Mountain 5–10 cm.
- Saddle height: inseam × 0.883 is a good road starting point.
- Reach: hands fall naturally on grips or hoods without locked elbows.
